Advertising & Sponsorship — The Africa Capital Report

Advertising & Sponsorship

Commercial, kept separate

We accept advertising and sponsorship as part of our commercial model. This policy exists to keep that revenue clearly separated from editorial judgment.

The line we hold

Editorial coverage is not for sale. Being a sponsor, advertiser, or commercial partner has no bearing on whether, or how, an organisation is covered.

01

Editorial coverage is not for sale

The Africa Capital Report does not accept payment, equity, or in-kind arrangements in exchange for coverage, favorable framing, or omission. Being a sponsor, advertiser, or commercial partner has no bearing on whether, or how, an organisation is covered editorially. Editorial decisions rest solely with the editorial team.

02

Monetisation model

TACR is monetised per-edition rather than through blanket subscriptions. Advertising and sponsorship placements are sold against specific editions, formats, or features — not against editorial coverage itself.

03

Labeling & disclosure

Sponsored content, paid placements, and advertorials are clearly and conspicuously labeled as such, distinct from staff-authored and contributor journalism.

Any commercial relationship between TACR (or its parent, Boodl. Solutions) and a subject of coverage is disclosed where relevant to the story. Advisory-board members and contributors with commercial or advisory ties to a subject of coverage are expected to disclose that relationship or recuse themselves from involvement in the relevant piece.

04

Independence from Boodl. Solutions

TACR is a subsidiary of Boodl. Solutions, a capital intelligence and advisory firm. Our editorial team operates independently of Boodl.'s advisory mandates and client relationships. Where a story touches on a current or former Boodl. client or engagement, that relationship is disclosed in the piece.
