The Africa Investor Forum, hosted by Invest Africa and CRDB Bank, will bring together senior leaders from African financial institutions, development finance institutions, institutional investors and the private sector to examine that question.
The forum takes place on October 15, 2026, in Bangkok, Thailand, on the margins of the IMF/World Bank Annual Meetings.
Under the theme “One Bank, Every Bridge: Connecting Africa’s Growth to the World’s Capital,” the event will focus on how stronger financial and commercial partnerships across Africa, Asia, the Gulf and international markets can mobilise capital and translate Africa’s investment opportunities into sustainable economic growth.
The programme will feature executive-level discussions around public and private capital, sustainable and trade finance, financial inclusion and cross-border investment, alongside strategic MoU signings and financing announcements intended to demonstrate how international partnerships can support investment, trade and sustainable development across Africa.
The event will feature speakers including Dr. Abdulmajid Mussa Nsekela, Group CEO of CRDB Bank; Jessica Nyachiro, Managing Director of CRDB Bank DRC; Amadou Hott, Chair of Vision Invest’s Africa Advisory Board; and Leslie Maasdorp, CEO of British International Investment.
